At present, the festival of Lohri will be celebrated on 13 January this year. Like this festival, many traditional dishes will be prepared on this festival as well. In which, in addition to mustard greens and maize bread, sugarcane juice pudding will also be made. Sugarcane juice kheer is a traditional Punjabi dish, which does not take much effort to make. But this kheer is truly unmatched in terms of taste. However, this Kheer is not only made on Lohri but also on Chhath festival and Makar Sakranti. So let's know what is the recipe of this tasty kheer.

Ingredients for making sugarcane juice pudding:
1 liter sugarcane juice
150 grams of rice
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
5-6 finely chopped cashews
5-6 finely chopped almonds
5-6 finely chopped pistachios
2 teaspoons raisins

Method :
Wash and soak the rice first. Now put sugarcane juice in a pan to boil. During boiling, dirt starts coming over the sugarcane juice. Keep removing it with the help of a spoon.

When the juice comes to a boil, then pour the soaked rice out of the water. Add rice and let it cook on low heat. After some time, check whether the rice has cooked. After rice is cooked add dry fruits and cardamom powder.

Serve the sugarcane pudding cold. If you like less sweet, then you can add a little bit of Rabri to it. By the way, this kheer is made without milk, if you want to add milk to it, do not mix milk in hot juice. This can cause kheer to burst.
